Fiore Maternity Massage uses specially formulated aromatherapy massage oils specific for each trimester, developed in conjunction with PMA®, leading Midwifery Bodies and Aromatherapists.
NurtureLife® Pregnancy Massage uses a combination of Relaxation and Remedial Massage techniques, to assist with the tensions and pains experienced during pregnancy, There are many physical benefits to Pregnancy Massage, in addition to the nurturing and emotional support provided by the practitioner. Massage reduces peripheral swelling, soothes the nervous system, helps to prevent insomnia, muscle cramps and back pain. Massage is beneficial throughout the whole pregnancy. Fiore Maternity Massage is available from the first trimester, and throughout the entire perinatal experience. Various techniques are used as the client progresses through the pregnancy and massage is performed whilst she is lying on her side, using specialty pillows to protect the abdomen. Regular massage throughout the pregnancy is also said to shorten labour time and the return to optimal fitness after birth.
Massages are conducted side lying with supporting cushions for blooming bellies and tender hips.

Post natal massage promotes relaxation and relieves anxiety, having a positive effect to ease postpartum blues. This massage supports and nurtures a new mother using post natal massage.
The early postnatal weeks are the time for your body to readjust and recover from the birth and pregnancy. The joy of adapting to new motherhood can also be exhausting, as the body is undergoing many changes. At NurtureLife® we aim to enhance the mother’s physical and emotional wellbeing during this time through a variety of methods, again with massage as the central focus. We consider the body spent 9 months creating a new life and overnight we are presented with a new baby. This is the optimum time when the body requires support to adjust and unwind the 9 months of pregnancy. NurtureLife® for the postnatal period is wonderful time to recharge readjust the mind and body to motherhood. New mums need time to relax and reduce any pain or discomforts onset in pregnancy or labour; what better way to achieve this than with a nurturing massage.

•NurtureLife®Partner Training & Massage for Labour•
Massage can be used during birth to make it easier for the mother. A well prepared partner offering support through massage can be of great benefit and comfort to the labouring mother. During this session we will demonstrate how to equip you and your birth partner to utilise massage for labour.
Pregnancy is never static; it is constantly changing and developing. NurtureLife® massage techniques focus on these changes and adapt to our clients’ ever changing needs in the lead-up to labour. NurtureLife® for labour explores how to best prepare the body to move through the waves of change in labour, while maintaining the mind-body-birth-baby-connection. NurtureLife® techniques offer a set of specialised skills for the birth partner to easily adapt and utilise with the labouring woman. Private sessions for the couples or mum-to-be and birth partner are also offered as part of NurtureLife® treatment. These sessions instil confidence in both the pregnant mum and partner, and you learn different massage techniques for various birthing scenarios. We will explore how to support you through the first stage of labour allowing your body to comfortably move and adjust in this early stage. Our focus is to reduce any fears or anxiety; this allows the body to produce the right hormones for the labour to progress, engaging a sense of connection and openness. Creating the right environment for the labouring women is essential for her to feel safe, secure and nurtured. You are guided into a deeper sense of relaxation with an inner focus that will assist you through your labour. You learn how to read the labouring body, and deliver nurturing touch during contractions. We will focus on gentle holds which are soothing, calming and maintain focus. During the contractions you will focus on specific holds creating “contraction distraction” to ease the contraction tides with a focus on inner strength, opening and ripening. We will explore active movement in early stage of labour, and effective positions to reduce either back pain or pelvic pain. We will utilise various positions that blend massage holds and nurturing touch through each phase of labour. You will feel confident and more connected with your birth partner knowing they have the tools to support you in your labour as you both journey to parenthood.
Touch is soothing, calming and what connects us; you will always remember the overwhelming joy you feel the first time you touch your new baby. This is a shared journey to parenthood. Sessions are tailored to your needs whether you are a first time mother or already have children.
